Community Guidelines

Late-night chat works when everybody gets to relax. These rules apply to every match, message, profile and live room on Chatingly. Break them and you may lose your account.

/ 01

Adults, and only adults

Chatingly is strictly 18+. Anyone who looks or claims to be younger is removed the moment we learn of it. If you meet someone who seems underage, end the chat and report it straight away.

/ 02

Consent on camera

Keep clothes on unless the other person has clearly said they are comfortable, and never open a match with nudity or sexual acts. Sexual content involving anyone who has not agreed to see it earns a permanent ban.

/ 03

Respect over reaction

  • No insults aimed at race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality.
  • No threats, stalking or pushing someone to keep talking after they have skipped you.
  • No asking for or posting another member’s home address, workplace or phone number.
  • Pressing next is not rude. Take it in stride and move on.

/ 04

No recording to harm

Do not record, screenshot or stream another person in order to shame, threaten or blackmail them. Threatening to leak a video is a serious offence and we treat it as one.

/ 05

Scams and spam

  • No selling, advertising or pushing people towards other sites or apps.
  • Nobody may ask members for cash, vouchers, crypto or account numbers.
  • No fake profiles, impersonation or automated accounts.
  • Anyone promising free coins or a hacked version of Chatingly is running a scam. Report them.

/ 06

Live rooms

People streaming in a live room can set their own tone, but these rules still apply to them and to everyone in the chat. Gifts are optional and are never owed. Pressuring someone for gifts or a private call is harassment.

/ 07

Reporting and what follows

Every call and live room has a report button. It passes the session to our moderators, who can warn, restrict or remove accounts. Serious harm may be passed to the authorities. To appeal a decision, email [email protected] with Appeal in the subject line. There is more on this in our safety rules.
